My Story

I am a S/BDR leader and absolutely love what I do! I’ve learned over the last two plus decades and 6 companies (between 50 to over 8,000 employees) in the technology industry, that the S/BDR leadership role is a specialty one.  Without an exceptional S/BDR leader at the helm, your new business sales pipeline will likely suffer.

After learning from and working with some of the best sales and marketing leaders at KMA One, PointClear, Ceridian, WorkForce Software, Productiv and Schoox, I’ve learned the best practices to ensure a S/BDR team is successful. 

Often executives will align the S/BDR team to a full sales cycle leader or a demand generation marketer. The challenge with this is that most of these leaders are S/BDR ‘generalists.’  They don’t have the specialized knowledge and experience being a S/BDR leader to know how to identify the challenges and solution for roadblocks when your company isn’t hitting its pipeline targets. And, often S/BDR leaders themselves report to a senior sales or marketing leader who has never been an S/BDR or S/BDR leader.

So, where does the struggling S/BDR leader and team go for help?  Where does the Executive go when they realize they have a pipeline generation problem and they need advice?  Where do S/BDRs go when they aren’t getting the proper training, leadership, and coaching they need from their boss and company to be successful?

Career achievements

Doubling the SDR team’s pipeline contribution quarter over quarter ten months into my role as head of sales development at Productiv in 2022.

Being recognized by Demandbase as One of the Top 50 Sales Leaders to Learn From in 2022.

Leading the global business development team to achieve their quota for the first time in company history after my first year as director of global business development at WorkForce Software in 2020.

Building and leading what started as a nine-person team in 2013 to become a global team of 42 BDRs successful at influencing more than 65% of new business sales globally resulting in Ceridian’s IPO in 2018.

Fifteen years of experience owning appointment setting projects at KMA One and PointClear (appointment setting vendors of choice for IBM and their co-marketing partners, Fleetcor, Microsoft, HP, SAP, etc.)
